Newsletter
The Newsletter acts mainly as a clearing house for information received by the Association which will be of interest to members teaching or studying in women's studies or involved in other areas of feminist activity. We occasionally reprint articles from other New Zealand and overseas sources, as a way of bringing these to members' attention.
We welcome opinion pieces or reviews by members - please keep them rolling in!
The Newsletter includes:
- WSA(NZ) news
- Current issues
- New Zealand feminist news
- Global feminist news
- Health and disability issues
- New Zealand and international conferences, courses, resources
- Reviews and articles
- 'The Column', a feminist view of Australia by life member Margot Roth
The November issue contains life memories of remarkable women, aged 80 and over, who are or were members of WSA. The special feature will continue in the March issue; so if you know of someone who would like to be interviewed about their feminist life, contact us. The March issue will also focus on issues of concern to young women and year thirteen students.
If something is happening in your area that you would like WSA members to
know about, send information to: Women's Studies Association, PO Box 5382,
Wellington, Aotearoa/New Zealand or
email the newsletter coordinator.
